Today we were very happy to see a wonderful feature on Casas da Serra Tavira in the Washington Post. Written as part of Washington Post’s<\/a> Climate Diaries series, author and environmentalist Leah Thomas (@greengirlleah<\/a>) reflects on a week in the calmness and natural beauty of the Serra de Tavira! Leah stayed at Monte do Cansado just before publishing her book The Intersectional Environmentalist<\/a>. Her characterization of the eastern Algarve as a smaller, more authentic, calmer and (still) ecologically more intact version of California is a big compliment.
